Our Story
Dilato was born from personal experience and professional expertise. The founders, Ellie Hong and Azia To, recognized a gap in comprehensive, accessible care for those struggling with painful sex.
Ellie, a pelvic pain coach and pelvic floor physiotherapist with over 8 years of clinical practice, has had helped thousands of women overcome various pelvic pain issues from vaginismus to endometriosis. Azia, a sex and pain reprocessing therapy educator, has personally struggled with vaginismus herself for over 7 years. The two of them share a vision for more inclusive and far-reaching support for the 1 in 5 people with vaginas that experience pain with sex.
Together, they decided to create a program that could reach and empower even more people with vaginas living in painful sex. By combining their diverse skills and shared passion, Ellie and Azia developed Dilato to offer hope and practical solutions to individuals seeking to reclaim their intimate lives.
